If you wish to include 'The Idiocy Vice' on your site also, then you can use this information if you like. I do not think they have a replacement composer yet, though the Producer, Sam Jeffreys, might do it - I heard that he composes.
And again he shares with us:
Yes. I composed music for the movie 'Freak Out' in 2003, and was sacked by the director Christian James. I had recorded 14 cues lasting almost 38 minutes in total.
Cue Titles:
- Freaked Out Motif. (2' 40")
- The Return of the Redwater Horror. (4' 52")
(2 Revisions)
- Granny and Chips. (0' 56")
- Onkey Through the Skylight. (1' 12")
- 1234. (3' 24")
- Cod Horror Video Theme. (1' 21")
- Close the Windows and Lock the Door. (0' 57")
- Psychotic Shower. (3' 23")
- Death in a Potato Sack. (1' 38")
- Wax On, Wax Off. (2' 08") (4 Revisions)
- Looney Mops Up. (5' 26")
- Escalation! (2' 08")
- Supermarket Sweep. (3' 21")
- Mervy Beat. (4' 32")
That listing is in the order in which the cues would have appeared in the movie (to the best of my knowledge), not in the order in which they were composed. However, with 'Freaked Out Motif' and 'Mervy Beat', I do not really know in what order they would have appeared if at all - undoubtedly not in the order above in relation to the other cues. I never saw the complete movie - I was given sections as Christian completed the editing of them, which made things a little difficult for me. I have since learned that even what footage I was given was probably not locked edit and was altered further before becoming the final cut. The basic reason given for my sacking was that my music wasn't humorous enough. The Director and I had fallen out a little quite early on in my involvement, and he had another composer (Stuart Fox) on board without informing me quite some time before he sacked me. I don't think that is cricket, but I know it happens.
